Minister
We are currently in a period of vacancy, as our minister has recently moved on to a new post. During this time, services are being led by a different person each week. Church life otherwise continues as normal, with the the minister’s other roles and responsibilities being shared among a number of people. If you have any requests or queries that would normally be directed to the minister, please contact a member of the team, who will ensure you are put in touch with the appropriate person.

Church Administrator
My name is Sarah Howe and I am the Church Administrator. I work with other team members to help with administrative tasks including advertising events, to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently within the church. I love working as part of the church community and making a difference.

Gillian Lloyd
Director of Music
Hello! As Director of Music I look after the music for Sunday worship (organ, piano, choir and music group). I also lead our community orchestra XY Strings, children’s music group Movers and Shakers and online choir, and am part of the Guildford Music Society@GURC team.

Children & Families Worker
Hi, I’m Nicky and I’m responsible for anything that covers youth, children or families work (which basically means I get to be a big kid most of the time!) Please get in touch if you have any questions over provision for young people, I am always happy to help.

Jess Faure
Community Worker
Hi, I’m Jess! I help the church connect to our community in order to reduce loneliness and social isolation among our neighbours. This includes hosting a weekly dementia-friendly group, a bring-and-share lunch and intergenerational music-making. I also work on building mutually beneficial relationships with other local charities and community leaders.

Caretaker
Well done. It looks like you have found me (I hope the picture isn’t too bad!). I’m the caretaker, so if you need a room booked, or you’ve lost a water bottle, when you can’t reach the plug or you find a chair is broken I’m your man.
